YOU CAN'T SUCCEED IN YOUR PROJECTS IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT PSYCHOLOGY, IF YOU DON'T HAVE CLARITY, IF YOU DON'T HAVE ENERGY, CONFIDENCE AND DARING.
There's always a before and an after to everything, but the good news is to always believe that nothing will ever be the same again if you're equipped like a warrior to face up to your fears and uncertainties. You can't succeed in your projects if you don't have the right psychology, if you don't have clarity, if you don't have energy, confidence and daring. It's impossible. You can't succeed if you don't have the right entourage and, above all, the indomitable will to leave a lasting legacy to posterity. You can't succeed if you're stuck with your own miseries, weaknesses, absences and shortcomings. To succeed, you need courage, inner strength, the ability to develop full awareness and, above all, the ability to remain resilient and reckless in the process. 2024 was a year full of euphoria, emotions and challenges, but also full of smiles and achievements. With two major events under its belt, the Academy Twenty One organisation, under the leadership of its Chairman & Founder Dr Raoul Ruben, This tireless, self-sacrificing worker has distinguished itself by organising two gigantic awards ceremonies for members who have shown boldness, courage, strength of character and, above all, never give up. At the Palais des Congrès in Yaoundé on 03 February and 17 August 2024 respectively, time stood still in Cameroon to pay tribute to the efforts of the fine men and women of the A21 community.
All good things, even the simplest, must come to an end. At the end of the year, we instinctively need to have the culture of being able to take stock, and that's what Dr Raoul Ruben will be talking about at this latest Training session at the Krystal Palace hotel in Douala. Taking stock of your year is both introspective and enriching. It invites us to step back and appreciate how far we've come, while offering us a unique opportunity to understand our successes, our failures and the lessons we've learned from each experience. This process, far from being a simple retrospection, becomes a genuine tool for personal transformation. By evaluating our actions, choices and priorities, we often discover aspects of ourselves that we hadn't fully perceived, or recurring patterns that can shed light on our future. The year in review is also an opportunity to celebrate the small victories, the ones that, although invisible to others, have made all the difference to our personal evolution. It's a moment of gratitude, where we recognise not only what we've achieved, but also what we've learned along the way.
However, this assessment goes beyond evaluating successes. It is also about embracing the moments of doubt, suffering or questioning. These phases are often perceived as failures, but they are actually opportunities for growth. By taking the time to understand what went wrong, we give ourselves the opportunity to better prepare for the future, with a clearer and more serene outlook. Taking stock of our year also means freeing ourselves from the burdens of the past and welcoming new perspectives with a sharper awareness. It's not an exercise in judgement, but in observation and acceptance. In this way, the review becomes a springboard to a new year, when we give ourselves the chance to align ourselves more closely with our deepest aspirations and life goals. And to make his communication easier to digest and clearer, he has carried out a simple exercise that everyone should be able to do in 05 key steps.
01- What were the objectives set in January 2024?
02- What have they achieved?
03- What challenges have you encountered?
04- How have you overcome these challenges?
05- Focus on the future.
These questions set out the guidelines for an objective evaluation, so that everyone can honestly assess where they are in their life plans on a scale of 1 to 10. It's also an opportunity to take new initiatives and make new commitments to make the year ahead a real springboard for success. It shows that success is not an accident, that we must not improvise, but that we must act intentionally and consciously to consolidate and achieve our goals. He didn't spend the evening dwelling on or brooding over the past. As a leader by example, we have to be able to put aside what we can no longer change and look to the future. And to do this, he set new benchmarks for rational projection into the year 2025, sharing with the audience some essential tips for a successful year. These tips were formulated as follows:
01- Learn to sell.
02- Be humble.
03- Have an international mindset.
04- Learn digital.
05- Love people.
Dr Raoul concluded this great mass of personal development and leadership on a singularly atmospheric note that left no one indifferent. With these statements, he laid solid foundations for anyone aspiring to a rich and prosperous year. Indeed, every word he uttered, every thought he raised, was an invitation to deep introspection, a call to personal responsibility and conscious action. In setting these milestones, he reminded us that success, whether personal, professional or spiritual, depends not just on external circumstances, but on the choices we make every day. This involves a commitment to knowing ourselves, to setting clear and realistic goals, and to cultivating a discipline that enables us to move step by step towards those aspirations. A key part of this process is the realisation that the year ahead will be shaped by our thoughts, our actions and our ability to overcome the obstacles that stand in our way. By learning to recognise our strengths and weaknesses, we can better navigate uncertainty and turn challenges into opportunities for development. What's more, this approach encourages us to adopt a proactive vision of life, rather than a reactive one. It's not simply a matter of waiting for events to unfold, but of actively taking the reins of our destiny, choosing our attitude to situations and remaining open to the opportunities that present themselves.
Finally, prosperity, in this context, is not limited to material abundance. It also encompasses inner wealth, mental peace and spiritual fulfilment. In setting these milestones, Dr Raoul Ruben invited everyone to broaden their definition of success to include personal well-being, harmonious relationships and constant growth. By integrating these principles into our daily lives, we can become the architects of our own future, ready to build a year that resonates with our deepest aspirations.
Happy and prosperous New Year to you all.
